See the Vision
A big part of being a good photographer is having a good eye. That means you see amazing photographs in everyday objects or situations.
Lots of Shots
When I first started out, I would take dozens and hundreds of pictures of the same place. Then I'd choose the best one. It trained me to be better.
Play with Settings
If you have a fancy camera, there are a ton of settings you can change for different situations. Change exposure, shutter speed, and aperture to get a different feel.
When you take a picture, try to avoid using the flash setting. It will blow out your pictures if you're taking them during the day. And at night, your pictures could look like deer in headlights! If you have to use a flash, take a step back to reduce blowout.
